PARIS — The European Space Agency (ESA) is asking its member governments to invest 750 million euros ($750 million) between 2023 and 2025 on the European Commission’s secure connectivity project, now seen as several satellite networks in different orbits.
That investment is part of an overall 2.4 billion euros that the agency’s Telecommunications and Integrated Applications Directorate is seeking from ESA ministers at a Nov. 22-23 ministerial conference to set mid-term budget and program priorities.
