PARIS — The industrial contractors for Europe’s Ariane 6 heavy-lift launch vehicle have signed a series of commitments among themselves and with the 22-nation European Space Agency (ESA) on funding and pricing for Ariane 6 through its first 15 launches.
The agreements were agreed in April but could not be made concrete until ESA’s November ministerial conference, which established funding levels for ESA’s next three to five years.
