WASHINGTON — EchoStar Corp.’s Hughes division is managing what it hopes will be a gradual decline in its consumer broadband subscribers to prioritize in-flight connectivity and considering how to maximize the potential of its global S-band spectrum license.
The company is using its access to Eutelsat Group’s OneWeb LEO broadband satellite constellation to offer a multi-orbit product to customers, and has signed two deals with Delta Air Lines.
