PARIS — Italian and Israeli geospatial imagery companies specializing in very-high-resolution radar and optical satellites, respectively, will coordinate their future satellites’ orbits and develop optical/radar analytics in an attempt to boost their market shares.
The two companies, e-Geos of Italy and ImageSat International (ISI) of Israel, said ISI’s two Eros-NG radar satellites, in development, will operate from a mid-inclination orbit to complement e-GEOs’s Cosmo-SkyMed satellites in sun-synchronous orbit.
