PARIS — Satellite and terrestrial ground hardware provider Comtech Telecommunications Corp., which has reorganized its business to create synergies between its space and terrestrial divisions, reported increased revenue and gross profit from its Satellite and Space Communications division and said it is continuing to invest to win satellite constellation business.
Comtech said it expects to begin production of modems and related equipment for an unidentified low-Earth-orbit broadband constellation by early 2023 from a new manufacturing plant in Arizona that is being built with constellations in mind.
