UPDATE Dec. 11: China's privately funded launch-vehicle startup, Landspace Technology, raised 500 million Chinese RMB ($71 million) in Series C-round financing led by Country Garden Venture Capital, a large Chinese technology investor, and will use the funds for R&D related to the company's ZQ-2 LOX/methane-fueled rocket, scheduled to fly in 2021.
Landspace had already reaised some $280 million in cash and in-kind investment from Chinese regional governments and private investors.
