UPDATE Sept. 9: Telesat has selected Calian Group to design, build, deploy and maintain the Element Management System (EMS) for Telesat's Lightspeed constellation of broadband satellites. EMS connects and maintains operations of the Lightspeed network, including its landing stations, user terminals and satellite on-board processors. The contract's value was not disclosed.
