PARIS— The market pull of SpaceX’s Starlink broadband constellation, most of it coming directly from customers of other satellite systems, notched another milestone with the Sept. 13 announcement that SES will be adding Starlink to an expanded service it’s offering cruise-line customers.
The deal, which had been rumored for weeks, appears to be one in which SES agreed to pay a fee to Starlink to become its latest distribution partner. The two companies then will divide revenue based on each vessel’s use of which satellites . . .
