PARIS — Startup B2B/B2G satellite broadband constellation startup Mangata Networks has closed a $33-million A-round of financing with financial backers and, notably, two strategics: South Korea’s KT Sat and Singapore-based Temasek Holdings Ltd, whose portfolio includes financial and telecommunications interests.
Mangata said the round, which had been expected for several months, was led by Playground Global of California and included Scottish Enterprise, Promus Ventures’s Orbital Ventures Fund of Luxembourg, and Meta Venture Partners.
