PARIS — An United Nations arbitration panel has ended an 18-month inquiry into the terminated sale of a Maxar Technologies-built telecommunications satellite to the Ukrainian government with a ruling in favor of Maxar, Maxar said.
The contract, signed in 2010, calls for Maxar predecessor company MDA Corp. to build and launch a telecommunications satellite for the National Space Agency of Ukraine. The contract was valued at $254 million. The satellite was to have occupied a Ukraine-registered orbital slot at 48 degrees east as part of a cooperation . . .
