PARIS — Airbus Defence and Space’s OneSat software-defined, flexible-payload satellite design has not been the runaway success that Airbus expected but the company said it is working 15 sales prospects.
With nine OneSats already sold for GEO-orbit satellite operators, Jean-Marc Nasr, head of Airbus’s Space Systems division, said the product is doing well and that the product has market momentum.
It was in May 2019 that Airbus first commercialized OneSat with a three-satellite order from mobile satellite services operator . . .
