AAC Clyde’s Hyperion sells its first two commercial cubesat lasercom terminals to Emtech of Greece

SINGAPORE — Small satellite hardware and service provider AAC Clyde Space has won its first commercial laser communications terminal contract just weeks after reporting the success of its cubesat-compatible terminal in a 1Gbps space-to-ground link from low Earth orbit.

Sweden- and Scotland-based AAC Clyde said Emtech Space S.A. of Athens has purchased two 1.3-kg CubeCAT laser terminals to be used as part of the two-satellite Greek Hellenic Space Dawn technology demonstrator mission in a conrtract AAC valued at . . .
