PARIS — Startup satellite-based space situational awareness service provider NorthStar Earth & Space Inc. said it has ended a three-satellite contract with Thales Alenia Space to focus its resources on its growing service-level agreement with Spire Global.
Spire has an established subscription-based business providing satellite data on GPS radio occultation, maritime surveillance and aircraft tracking and will open a new satellite production capability to provide a similar space situational awareness service to North Star.
