PARIS —The European Space Agency, saying 50% or more of the EEE components of its most advanced satellites are purchased outside Europe, is asking its governments to invest 150 million euros ($150 million) over five years to redress the issue.
The request is part of the 22-nation agency’s overall package of 18 billion euros to be presented at the Nov. 22-23 CM22 ministerial conference in Paris.
