LA PLATA, Maryland — Space hardware and services provider MDA Corp. revised downward its forecast for revenue and gross profit in 2022, mainly because expected business from the Telesat Lightspeed broadband satellite constellation is no longer likely.
Two other MDA flagship programs, the Canadarm 3 robotic arm for the International Space Station and Canada’s Surface Combatant Ship, are moving forward but more slowly than anticipated.
MDA had previously said it was counting on 92 million Canadian dollars ($72 million) in Telesat . . .
