PARIS — International regulators approved a request from France that OneWeb be given an eight-month extension, to July 2023, to begin operating a Q/V-band payload on one of its satellites.
The decision, while straightforward in this case, further opens the regulatory door of what’s considered a force majeure event to future requests for deadline extensions.
