PARIS — The Luxembourg government is asking international regulators to extend the deadline for bringing into use a LEO satellite constellation that Luxembourg registered in 2015 on behalf of a satellite operator and which then sat, unused, for six years.
Luxembourg said that when it started asking -- in 2021 -- for updates from the ostensible Cleosat operator, Luxembourg Space Telecommunications S.A. (LST), it received no response.
