PARIS — The 2022 budget for the French space agency, CNES, is up 9.9% from 2021 including limited-duration sources such as a national bond issuance, called Investing in the Future (PIA), and France’s Covid recovery package.
The funding does not include a new five-year, multibillion-euro program called France 2030, which has earmarked 1.5 billion euros ($1.7 billion), mostly for New Space startups.
As usual, a large portion of these funds will be steered to the 22-nation . . .
