Eutelsat: Satellite sector M&A a good idea, no political obstacles, but shareholder value must be assured

PARIS — Satellite fleet operator Eutelsat said it was confident in its long-term strategic focus on broadband deployment and limiting the decline in its core DTH broadcast business, but that a consolidation would be good for the satellite broadcast industry.
