PARIS — Satellite operators Eutelsat and Inmarsat and in-flight-connectivity (IFC) service providers Intelsat-owned Gogo Commercial and Global Eagle Entertainment agreed it will take well over a year for commercial aviation to recover to pre-Covid traffic levels.
They also agreed there was sufficient satellite capacity coming into service in the next year or two to satisfy airline demand, even if some airlines move to a free-WiFi model.
But they were not in agreement on whether airlines . . .
