PARIS — Intelsat, bowing to creditor resistance, scaled back a planned purchase of three software-defined satellites for in-flight-connectivity (IFC) as it assumes ownership of Gogo’s commercial aviation division.
The company now wants its Chapter 11 bankruptcy court to approve a two-satellite order with Airbus Defence and Space, industry officials said.
