SINGAPORE — Satellite service providers said they are bracing for a new attack on their business by satellite fleet operators seek to offset stagnant revenue by going directly to end users.
Senior officials from Encompass Digital Media, NorthTelecom and Speedcast said the decline in satellite bandwidth prices, while good news for their business, is causing satellite operators to muscle in on their customers.
