Debris removal, satellite life extension service provider Astroscale: Revenue down, backlog up in H1 FY 2025

LA PLATA, Maryland — Space debris removal and satellite life-extension provider Astroscale Holdings Inc. said it expects to report a gross profit for the fiscal year ending April 30 despite a sharp drop in revenue for the six months ending Oct. 31 and heavy R&D spending scheduled for this year.

In a Jan. 27 investor presentation, Astroscale Chief Financial Officer Nobuhiro Matsuyama said the company’s June 2024 IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange provided sufficient cash to operate the business and that it may reach cash . . .
