BRUSSELS — The European Commission expects to publish its long-delayed Space Law — now renamed the Space Act — between April and June and will provide a grace period of around 2-3 years before it takes effect to give companies time to adjust, a senior Commission official said.
Catherine Kavvada, director for secure and connected space at the Commission’s DG-Defis directorate, said the act is designed to harmonize EU policy on space safety, security and sustainability, while also offering EU companies a competitive advantage in adapting . . .
