Lasercom terminal builder Mynaric, a key Space Development Agency supplier, again cuts its 2024 revenue, backlog

LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite laser communications terminal manufacturer Mynaric AG, a key supplier to the U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA) missile-defense constellations that in August cut forecasted 2024 revenue by 66% and announced a review of strategic options, further reduced its revenue estimate and its year-end order backlog.

Munich-based Mynaric, which also has a production facility in California, said it now expects 2024 revenue to be 14.1 million euros ($14.6 million), down from the 20 million euros estimated in August and 60 million . . .
