LA PLATA, Maryland — The European Commission, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the SpaceRise industrial consortium signed contracts to build the multi-orbit Iris2 secure connectivity constellation designed for government use but reserving a large amount of capacity for consortium members Eutelsat, SES and Hispasat.
