PARIS — SpaceX’s Starlink satellite broadband service will surpass 4 million subscribers this week, with its terminal-manufacturing facility in Texas having produced 1 million terminals in less than a year, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell said.
In Sept. 24 testimony to the Texas House of Representatives Appropriations Committee, Shotwell said the nearly 1-million-square-foot Bastrop production site “will be the largest printed circuit board manufacturing facility in the United States.
