D-Orbit closes C-round financing with $166 million; investors include Marubeni Corp. of Japan and European Investment Bank

PARIS — Space logistics company D-Orbit, which has conducted 14 missions of its ION Satellite Carrier orbital transfer vehicle and placed more than 150 customer payloads into orbit, closed its extended C-found financing with 150 million euros ($166 million).

The round was led by long-term investor Marubeni Corp. of Japan, which has become a sales agent for D-Orbit in Southeast Asia and the Middle East and is a long-term investor in the company.
