LA PLATA, Maryland — Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc.’s space, satellite and cyber business reported a 23% increase in revenue for the three months ending Sept. 30, with a book-to-bill rate of 1.4 with the likelihood of more growth to come given the increase in satellite launches.
Kratos is pinning much of its space division’s near-term growth on market uptake of its OpenSpace virtualized ground network that replaces much ground station hardware with software.
